The 49ers activated wide receiver Mario Manningham and cornerback Eric Wright to their 53-man roster, the team announced on Monday.
Manningham and Wright began practicing after the 49ers' sixth game of the season. Manningham was on the reserve/physically unable to perform list after sustaining a knee injury late last season. Wright opened the season on the reserve/non-football illness list.
Last week, the 49ers released wide receiver Marlon Moore to, in effect, open a spot for Manningham. On Monday, Moore signed with the Miami Dolphins, the team for which he played his first three NFL seasons.
On Monday, the 49ers waived veteran cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha to open the way for Wright to join the team.
