SAN FRANCISCO, CA (September 22, 2016) – CSN Bay Area (@CSNAuthentic), the home of “Authentic Bay Area Sports,” announced today its coverage of the Golden State Warriors (@Warriors) for the 2016-17 season, which includes 72 games (70 regular season, 2 preseason); comprehensive game day coverage with one-hour Warriors Pregame Live and Warriors Postgame Live shows; Warriors games, Warriors Pregame Live and Warriors Postgame Live streamed live on CSNBayArea.com and via the NBC Sports app; extensive, season-long Warriors and NBA news, analysis, and insider reports on SportsNet Central, SportsTalk Live, Warriors Central and Warriors Ground; and in-depth online coverage on CSNBayArea.com – plus, the launch of Warriors Insider Podcast with Monte Poole.
The 2016-17 Warriors regular season on CSN Bay Area gets underway on Friday, Oct. 28 at 6:30 p.m. when the Warriors visit the New Orleans Pelicans (Warriors Pregame Live at 5:30 p.m.). Calling all the action for Warriors games on CSN Bay Area will be the Emmy Award-winning team of Bob Fitzgerald and Jim Barnett, with Ros Gold-Onwude (@Rosgo21) handling sideline reporter duties.
In addition to the 70 regular season games, CSN Bay Area will televise two preseason games – Saturday, Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. (Warriors Pregame Live at 6:30 p.m.) as the Warriors take on the Los Angeles Lakers from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, and Friday, Oct. 21 at 7:30 p.m. (Warriors Pregame Live at 7 p.m.) as the Warriors host the Portland Trail Blazers.
