NEW ORLEANS -- Wide receiver Randy Moss, who said last week he did not like his role with the 49ers, saw action in a season-high 79 percent of the team's offensive plays in Super Bowl XLVII.

The 49ers featured a lot more two-receiver sets against the Baltimore Ravens, as Michael Crabtree came off the field for only two of the 49ers' 62 offensive snaps. Moss saw action in 49 plays.

Quarterback Colin Kaepernick targeted Moss with five passes, not including a failed two-point conversion. He had two receptions for 41 yards.

Last week, Moss said about his role with the 49ers, "I don't like my role. I don't. I like to be out there playing football."

He explained further: "I don't always have to touch the ball to be able to help the offense score touchdowns. Like I said, I don't really like that, but it's something that I'm used to. I have to grow to understand and grow to like it. I've always been a team player."

Coach Jim Harbaugh said recently he wants Moss back with the 49ers next season. Moss, who is scheduled to be a free agent, would not say whether he wishes to return to the 49ers. He was unavailable for comment after the game.
