The Oakland Raiders have resigned Khalif Barnes, who started nine games at right tackle for the team last season. He is the Raiders' first unrestricted free agent to re-sign with the team. The Raiders re-signed defensive backs Phillip Adams and Coye Francies, who were restricted and exclusive-rights free agents, respectively.

The 6-foot-6, 321-pound Barnes suffered through an injury-plagued 2012 season, undergoing a surgical procedure on his groin early in the year and one on his arm after the season.

He has been a mainstay on the offensive line, though, since signing with Oakland in 2009, playing in 47 games with 30 starts. In his career, Barnes has played in 107 games -- 87 of those starts -- since Jacksonville made him a second-round pick out of Washington in the 2005 NFL Draft.
