A person familiar with the deal says the Maloof family has reached an agreement with a Sacramento group headed by Vivek Ranadive to sell a 65 percent controlling interest in the Kings.
Chris Hansen and his group of investors lost the relocation battle this week, but they aren't giving up on bringing a team to Seattle.
