Gameday: Needing win, Kings close road trip against ‘Greek Freak'

Share

The Sacramento Kings finish off their season-long five game road trip in Milwaukee with a clash against the Bucks. Unfortunately, they will likely have to go to battle without All-Star center DeMarcus Cousins who is ailing with a lower back strain.

Sacramento is trying desperately to salvage their eastern swing. They are just 1-3 on the trip after Monday’s devastating overtime loss in Charlotte, and they are 0-5 on the season without Cousins.

Rajon Rondo continues to post incredible numbers. After setting a new Kings record with 20 assists against the Hornets, Rondo leads the NBA in assists at 10.8 per game.

Milwaukee relies on a balanced attack which includes newcomer Greg Monroe. The former Pistons big is posting 16.4 points and 10.1 rebounds a game for coach Jason Kidd.

His length is bound to bother Gay, who is coming off a 28 point, 10 rebound performance in Monday’s overtime loss to the Hornets.
