After an offseason with several intriguing additions through NBA free agency and the 2021 draft, the Warriors now have their 2021-22 regular-season schedule.

The NBA announced the schedules for all 30 teams on Friday, and the Warriors will open the season against the Los Angeles Lakers at Staples Center on Tuesday, Oct. 19.

For the ninth straight season, the Warriors will play on Christmas Day, the league's marquee date on the calendar. This season, they will take on the Phoenix Suns on the road. Golden State is 4-4 on Christmas the last eight years, and 13-17 all time on the holiday.

Former Warriors star Kevin Durant leads the hungry Brooklyn Nets to Chase Center on Jan. 29, 2022. Golden State will visit the New York borough on Nov. 16, 2021.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis now will be flanked by All-Star guard Russell Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony and former Warrior Kent Bazemore.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and the reigning NBA champion Milwaukee Bucks visit the Bay Area on March 12, 2022, while the matchup in Cream City takes place on Jan. 13, 2022.

The Warriors will host the Kings, their Northern California rival, on Jan. 20, 2021 and Feb. 3, 2022. The two teams will play at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento on Oct. 24 and April 3, 2022.

Chris Paul, Devin Booker and the defending Western Conference champion Suns will face the Warriors for the first time on Nov. 30, 2021 in Phoenix.

The Warriors conclude the 2021-22 regular season on April 10 in New Orleans, and if all goes according to plan, they still will be in action long past that date in the NBA playoffs.

RELATED: Where Kuminga fits in Warriors' rotation

After bringing back Andre Iguodala, signing Otto Porter Jr. and Nemanja Bjelica, and drafting Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody, the Warriors can't wait to start the new season. At some point in December, they expect to get Klay Thompson back after the All-Star shooting guard missed the last two seasons, first with a torn ACL and then with a torn Achilles.

The season opener can't come soon enough.
