Warriors swingman Brandon Rush, who tore two ligaments in his left knee on Nov. 3 against the Memphis Grizzlies, still has not had the surgery needed to repair his anterior cruciate ligament, but his agent said Thursday that tests show his damaged medial collateral ligament has healed.

Dr. David Altchek, the New York-based orthopedic surgeon selected to operate on Rush, wants him to have full range of motion in the knee before performing the surgery, said Mark Bartelstein, Rush's agent. Bartelstein estimated that Rush's knee is one or two degrees away from the necessary range and could be ready in the next week or two.

Rush is not expected to play again this season.
