Injury report: Seahawks' Rawls doubtful; 49ers' Davis out

The 49ers will apparently not have to contend with the two Seattle Seahawks running backs who have given them fits in recent seasons.

With Marshawn Lynch on the retired list, the Seahawks appear as if they will not have running back Thomas Rawls available, either. On Friday, the Seahawks listed Rawls as doubtful for Sunday’s game against the 49ers due to a shin injury.

When the 49ers last traveled to Seattle in late-November, Rawls rushed for 209 yards and a touchdown on 30 carries in the Seahawks’ 29-13 victory over the 49ers.

The Seahawks are expected to lean heavily on running back Christine Michael, who leads the team with 126 yards on 25 carries in the first two games of the season.

The 49ers will be without backup offensive tackle Anthony Davis for the second consecutive game. He is not expected to make the trip to Seattle, as he continues to go through the NFL concussion protocol. Davis was diagnosed with a concussion following the 49ers’ padded practice on last Thursday.

Safety Jaquiski Tartt (knee) and reserve defensive back Marcus Cromartie (ankle) are listed as questionable. The 49ers had a walk-through practice on Friday, but both would have been available for only limited work, the team reported.

Guard Andrew Tiller (ankle), defensive linemen Arik Armstead (shoulder), Quinton Dial (knee), Glenn Dorsey (knee) and Mike Purcell (ankle), linebacker Nick Bellore (knee), and cornerback Keith Reaser (ankle) have been cleared and are all expected to be available to play in Sunday’s game.
