As the Warriors raced to 73 wins during the regular season, debate raged about whether they were the greatest team in NBA history.
Players from previous generations were quick to state that the 2015-16 Warriors wouldn't stand a chance against the great teams of the past.
A week after the Warriors became the first team in history to blow a 3-1 series lead in the NBA Finals, one former player took it upon himself to kick them while they are down.

Byron Russell, who played 13 seasons in the NBA - nine with the Utah Jazz, sounded off on the Warriors in an interview on SiriusXM NBA Radio on Sunday.
"Everybody always comparing the Golden State Warriors to the Chicago Bulls and can they beat them? They couldn't beat the Bulls in any era. Matter of fact, they couldn't even beat the Utah Jazz I played on in any era because we had this one big guy in the post named Karl Malone. Who are they going to put on him? Draymond? Andrew Bogut? Please don't say Festus Ezeli. And who's going to guard me to be honest? I'll post up Klay or Curry," Russell said.
And after taking his shot at the Warriors, Russell got in a shot at Michael Jordan.
"And I pretty much consider myself having some good defense. It had to take a push-off to beat me," Russell said, referring to Jordan's 1998 NBA Finals-winning shot.
